Andre Bohren has been a part of the New Orleans music scene for most of his life. Born into a musical family, he started playing drums with his late father, Spencer Bohren. During his college years, Andre developed into an accomplished concert pianist. Andre was a founding member of the popular New Orleans band Johnny Sketch and the Dirty Notes, who have been playing together for nearly 20 years now.

Tonight, he collaborates with violinist Harry Hardin, fellow Johnny Sketch & the Dirty Notes bandmate, and member of big bands like One Republic. Harry studied with violinist Valerie Poulette while earning a Bachelors degree in Music with an emphasis in Classical Violin from Loyola University New Orleans in 2003. He is currently a resident violin and guitar instructor at Metairie Park Country Day School, while still performing throughout the city. He's a regular performer with the Jefferson Performing Arts Society, Le Petite Theatre, Dave Jordan & The NIA, The Tangle, The Ramblin' Letters, Washboard Rodeo, and the High Ground Drifters.

Andre has been putting together a repertoire of duo music with Harry on violin that includes Brazilian choros and French waltzes, as well as some heavy duty Beethoven violin/piano music that the two will present tonight entitled, "Beethoven on Frenchmen."
